Rules Overview:

The Australia & NZ Epilepsy Support Group have a set of rules that help us guide the group. The following rules are made for the benefit of it's members to ensure this is a safe, fun, happy and informative environment for the group. If there are any problems, please e-mail the owner of this group.We don't like being the one to enforce rules but it is for the benefit of us all.
1. PRIVACY INFORMATION:

All members must take into consideration that by posting personal information (names, addresses and phone numbers) they are responsible for any problems that may arise from this. If you want to give someone your address/phone number or personal information, please use other means to do so. (Yahoo! Messenger, ICQ, and e-mail). Also, I nor other members in this Yahoo! Group can be held responsible for problems that happen after posting personal information.

2. ADVERTISING:

Under NO circumstances will any type of advertising be listed! This is a internet discussion group, not a place for free publicity of any kind. I simply don't have the time for spammers. If you want to advertise something that would be beneficial, please e-mail me about it first. If you would like to add a survey discussion, please make sure it is ONLY related to epilepsy or action will be taken.

3. RESPECTING OTHERS:

In this group, everyone is to be treated EQUALLY and no discrimination of ANY KIND will be tolerated at all by other members, moderators and the owner of this group. Instant moderation of messages will occur and repeat of this will be subject to banning the member who is responsible for the discrimination of others opinions!!!

4. OTHER ISSUES:

Members are encouraged to bring to attention any concerns about others in the group. The issues will be looked at and dealt with as the issue is raised.

If any of the above should happen, the following steps will be taken:

1. Inquiry as to why such rule has been breached
2. Reminder e-mail of The Australian Epilepsy Support Group's Rules
3. If offence is repeated, the member in question shall be banned.
5. MESSAGES:

Messages must be written with no cursing language as much as possible and NO FORWARDED E-MAILS AT ALL!!! If it happens, moderation will be considered.
